Easy

You like this new song?
Can you understand a word of it?
Neither can I!
But I LOVE it!
Love those Bare Naked Ladies!

Yes, I understand it. But Austin and I are diehard BNL fans. Thanks for bringing up one of my favorite songs on their somewhat latest album. (They've released two since then...with the most recent, a kid's album Austin just bought, coming out last week.)

LOL. I actually went and listened to it. This is actually the "Simlish" version of the song that was made for The Sims 2. I know this because I have Sims 2 and I was so excited when I heard a Simlish version of the song play on my sim's radio.

Actual lyrics:

What’s a boy to do?
When you tell your tale and it never fails
I just end up feeling bad for you
With your hang-dog eyes
You can bring me down now I’m wrapped around your whole hand stop looking so surprised

Make it easy (easy)
Make it easy (easy)

I’ve been burned before
You’re not fooling me there’s no mystery you've forgotten what you’re hiding for
Call it self-defense
You can obfuscate and manipulate but it’s only at your own expense

Make it easy (easy)
Make it easy (easy)
Make it easy (easy)
Make it easy (easy)

Easy to be with you
Easy to obey
Easy to forgive you at the end of the day
East not to judge you
Easy to betray
Easy to adore you though you want to run away

It’s easy

Look what you have done
I can do the same two can play this game you’ll no longer be the only one

Make it easy (easy)
Make it easy (easy)
Make it easy (easy)
Easy (easy)

Thanks for the lyrics, Tracie.
Now I know why the link took me to the Sims page.
I loved the song, even before I had the words.

That's a great song, from a great band! Thanks for posting the song, and thanks to Tracie for 1) introducing me to the band, and 2) all the explanations on the "simish" version! Isn't she the best!

That's right! I'm singing my wife's praises, even OFF my blog!

You're all wonderful too. ;)
