Yes, it's FISHING!
Max has been hooked on it (pun inevitable) for a couple of years already, but this last week was the first time I've done it since I was a little girl. I took the kids out a couple of times during their spring break to some nearby rivers and ponds, and we all loved it. Jim did too.
It's a wonderful way to spend time with the kids and it is so relaxing just sitting at the water's edge, watching the ducks, listening to the water, and waiting for a bite.
I haven't gotten one yet, but the anticipation is all part of the experience.
And now I'm wanting my own fishing pole. It's a good thing that this isn't an expensive hobby.
But, unfortunately, another hobby that I want to indulge in is more expensive. . . . . photography. And I wish I had a camera to take with me when we go fishing. You don't realize how many photo ops there are out there until you see your kids enjoying each other's company doing something together, and having fun.

Fishing RULES! I used to fish all the time when I was Max's age! We'll have to come fishing sometime we're over there!
LOL when I was little we went
fishing as a family & I think
it was grandma (moms mom) who
caught a fish and it got loose.
I still remember yelling "Run
fishy run." I must have been
oh about four lol.
We've had a lot of fun fishing before and miss Ut. because of it. So, you'll have to go fishing at Scofield for us as it's one of our favorite places to fish. Have fun & I'm sure you'll catch one next trip.
